Important notices
Exclusions
This policy does not cover death or injury caused by the following events:
- Suicide or attempted suicide while sane or insane.
- Any field operations undertaken by the military, navy, air force, police or security services, fire-fighting (whether voluntarily or otherwise).
- Any elective, cosmetic (aesthetic), plastic and/or reconstructive surgery and related treatments.
- War, radiation or contamination by radioactivity, nuclear weapons material.
- Terrorism.
- HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and/or HIV related illness including AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) and/or any mutant derivatives or variations thereof however caused.
- Childbirth, pregnancy, miscarriage or any complications thereof.
- Pre-existing illness, physical or mental defects or infirmity.
- Self-inflicted injury, and provoked murder or assault.
- Engaging in dangerous activities or sports such as skydiving, horseback polo playing, motor sports rallies, racing etc. whether professionally or semi-professionally.
