e-Fixed Deposits

You will no longer need to make that trip to the bank for Fixed Deposit placements. Just open a Fixed Deposit account and make a placement online through your OCBC Online Banking account.

STEP-BY-STEP-GUIDE

Open Fixed Deposit Account
Placement
Withdrawal

Log in to your OCBC Internet Banking account, go to "Open and account" > "Open an account" under Fixed Deposit.

Select the type of Fixed Deposit account you wish to open and choose your mailing address and signature for the account.

Enter all required details, subscribe for e-Statement and accept terms and conditions to proceed.

Review all details, key in the 6-digit OTP code and click "Submit".

Your Fixed deposit account is successfully opened.

Log in to the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app and tap on “More”.

Tap on "Apply" > "Place a Fixed Deposit".

Select your existing Fixed Deposit account, enter all required details and tap on "Next".

Review all details, key in the 6-digit OTP code and tap on "Submit".

Your Fixed Deposit is successfully placed.

Log in to your OCBC Internet Banking account, go to "Open an account" > "Withdraw from an account".

Select the Fixed Deposit account/receipt that you wish to withdraw from.

Select the crediting account that you wish to credit the withdrawn fund to, tick the terms and conditions and click "Next".

Review all details, key in the 6-digit OTP code and click "Submit".
