How to register your company
Step 1: Identify your company and enter your business registration number (BRN)
Select your business type and enter your BRN as stated in your SSM certificate (e.g. 202101123456):
- Sole Proprietor/Patnership
- Sdn Bhd

Confirm your company name and BRN
Step 2: Confirm that your company name and BRN are correct
Select “YES” to confirm, or select “NO” for assistance. A Business Development Manager will reach out to you to provide assistance.

Step 3: Confirm that your company details are correct
Select “CORRECT” to confirm, or select “INCORRECT” for assistance. A Business Development Manager will reach out to you to provide assistance.

Provide your name and contact details
Step 4: Enter your name and company contact details
Enter your mobile number and email address.

Confirm your company name and BRN
Step 5: Confirm your address and Main Contact Person
- Your business address will be auto populated as your mailing address. If your mailing address is different, click on “Edit” and change accordingly.
- Select the Main Contact Person of your business.

Step 6: Provide information on the nature of your business
- Tell us about the nature of your business.
- Enter the total number of employees in your company.

Declaration on your business
Step 7: Declare if your business deals with any of the following industries
Select “NO” if your business does not involve any of the following activities.
Armament or weapons related industries
Your business produces weapons or equipment for war
Casinos, junkets, betting or other gambling related business
Your business involves gambling
Money services business
Your business provides foreign currency exchange, money transfers and selling money orders
Virtual currencies
Your business is involved in digital currency
Forex trader, multi-level marketing/pyramid scheme, investment advisor/business
Your business
- Sells/buys currencies
- Operates in a way that the existing distributors will find new distributors to earn commissions
- Provides investment recommendation to customers

Country of operation and source of funding
Step 8: Tell us where your business operates from and from where it receives funding
- Enter the location of your daily business operation.
- Choose the source of working capital or initial deposit used to open the OCBC eBiz Account.

Company turnover and ownership
Step 9: Provide information on your company’s turnover and ownership
- Enter the total estimated annual profit of your business.
- Select the country from which the majority of your sales or customers originates.
- Select “YES” if you are the person ultimately responsible for making decisions for business-related transactions.

Tax and income information
Step 10: Provide information on your tax and income
- Select the country in which your business files its taxes.
- Let us know if your business generates most of its income from daily business operations or from dividends, interest, rentals, and royalties.

Purpose of the account
Step 11: Tell us why you are opening the account
From the options below, select the purpose of your company opening the business current account.

Step 12: Provide information on your current customers
Name up to 5 customers who buy or consume your goods and services (e.g. ABC Sdn Bhd).

Step 13: Provide information on your current suppliers
Name up to 5 suppliers who supply goods or services to your company (e.g. ABC Sdn Bhd).

Countries you will be transacting with
Step 14: Provide information on countries you will be transacting with
Select up to 5 countries that your business goods and/or services will be coming from or going to.

Projected Monthly Transactions
Step 15: Provide information on your projected monthly transactions
- Select the number of buy and sell transactions performed by your business every month.
- Select a range of the total estimated amount in MYR for buy and sell transactions performed by your business every month.

Our Business Banking Services
Step 16: Our extended Business Banking Services
- The OCBC eBiz Account comes with OCBC Velocity (Business Internet Banking), Business Mobile Banking and OCBC Business Debit Card.
- Check the box if you would like to register your OCBC eBiz Account for a DuitNow ID.
- Check the box if you would like to apply for OneCollect.
NOTE:
DuitNow is a new way to transfer and receive money instantly via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking using your BRN.

Confirm the details on the your Business Debit Card.

OCBC Business Debit Card settings
Step 18: Customise your Business Debit Card settings
- Edit the details of the card holder name on the Business Debit Card.
- Set the name display on the Business Debit Card.
- Select the ATM daily withdrawal limit and daily purchase payment limit.
- Check the box if you would like to set up your Business Debit Card for contactless payment and enable online transactions.

Upload your signature
Step 19: Upload your signature for our records
- Sign on a white piece of paper with a black or blue pen, and upload the signature. Avoid light reflection or shadows on the uploaded signature image.

- Select “YES” if you consent to allowing us to disclose your name and contact details to other entities within the OCBC Group for marketing purposes.
- Click and read through the 4 agreements before proceeding.
