 Mudharabah General Investment Account-i
These investment accounts operate under the contract of Mudharabah (trustee profit-sharing). There is no fixed return on investment. Instead, the bank and customer are to agree on a profitsharing ratio for distribution of profit from utilisation of funds. |

 Commodity Murabahah General Investment Account-i
These are investment accounts that are based on principle of Bai’ Tawarruq (tripartite commodity trading). Unlike Mudharabah GIA-i, return on investment for CM GIA-i is fixed upfront.
