What is Family Gift-i?

Family Gift-i is a Takaful plan underwritten by Great Eastern Takaful Berhad. With Family Gift-i, you and your family are covered throughout your life stages and receive life stage achievement benefits as your family evolves

Key Benefits of Family Gift-i

A lump sum of RM3,000 (payable once for Person Covered, spouse or child) shall be payable for each diagnosis and hospitalisation of the selected infectious disease, which includes Dengue Fever, Zika Virus, SARS, Influenza A & H5N1, Hand Foot Mouth Disease and many more*.	You will be rewarded a lump sum of RM500 when you achieved certain personal milestone in life, i.e. marriage and child birth (up to 2 events).	If you or your spouse pass away due to an accident in Malaysia, your family will receive twice the amount you are covered, three times the amount if the accident occurs due to specific events, and four times if pass away due to an accident outside of Malaysia.	Receive a lump sum amount upon maturity. The lump sum amount will be the value (if any) of your Participant’s Individual Account.

How Does Family Gift-i Work?

En. Azizan, a 30 years old non-smoker, married, and is expecting his first child in the next 6 months. He is looking for a protection plan that not only covers himself, but also his wife and his future children. He chooses to participate in Family Gift-i with an annual contribution of RM2,537.50 which provides him with a Basic Sum Covered of RM250,000. En. Azizan can rest assured and have peace of mind that he and his whole family are protected under this plan without any underwriting required for his spouse and children.

Life Stage Achievement Rewards	Upon the birth of En. Azizan’s child, he will receive RM500 as a reward
Infectious Diseases Protect	RM3,000 is payable once for each individual connected to En. Azizan, namely his spouse and future child’s life, if any of them are infected with an infectious disease
Accidental Medical Reimburse-ment	If En. Azizan’s future child is admitted to the hospital due to accidental causes, the medical expenses incurred will be reimbursed up to the maximum amount of RM3,000 per accident
Other Benefit/Maturity Benefit Returns	Participant’s Individual Account Value, if any
