NEWLY-DESIGNED CHEQUES ACCEPTED

ONLY NEWLY-DESIGNED CHEQUES ACCEPTED FROM 1 SEPT 2009 With effect from 1 September 2009, only the newly-designed cheques based on the new CTCS (Cheque Truncation and Conversion System) will be accepted.
Customers who have yet to switch to the newly- designed cheques are advised to contact their branch of account immediately as the old cheques will not be honored after 1 Sept 2009.

For your information Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) implemented the Cheque Truncation and Conversion System (CTCS) on 13 June 2008 to replace the existing SPICK Cheque Clearing System.

In compliance with this CTCS requirement, OCBC Bank began issuing the newly designed cheques (measuring the stipulated 7 inches by 3.5 inches) for all accounts – both company and individual – from 1 July 2007.

HANYA CEK REKA BENTUK BARU DITERIMA MULAI 1 SEPTEMBER 2009 Mulai 1 September 2009, hanya cek reka bentuk baru berdasarkan CTCS (“Cheque Truncation and Conversion System”) sahaja akan diterima.
Para pelanggan yang masih menggunakan cek reka bentuk lama dinasihatkan untuk menghubungi segera cawangan akaun anda kerana cek tersebut tidak lagi digunapakai mulai tarikh di atas.

Untuk makluman, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) telah memperkenalkan CTCS pada 13 Jun 2008 untuk menggantikan SPICK ( Sistem Penjelasan Imej Cek Kebangsaan). Bagi mematuhi peraturan CTCS, OCBC Bank telah mula mengeluarkan cek reka bentuk baru (berukuran 7 inci x 3.5 inci) untuk semua akaun syarikat dan individu bermula 1 Julai 2007.
